This summer, on the 'Red Button Day', scientists will turn on the LHC (Large Hadron Collider), and also open The Grid, which can send data online 10,000 times faster than current standards. Movies can be downloaded in 5 seconds, for example.

Hindi Blogosphere is usually more concerned at values (sic) ethics at best the politics but thanks to some blogs like Kal ki duniya now we are not just looking back but forward as well.pic the grid Kal ki diniya regularly review the future technologies. In this post it outlines the latest in data transfer.  It is called The Grid and it is upto 10000 times faster then broadband. I wont even dare to compare it with narrowband dial ups from India.

That sounds really intresting, isn't. Technology has to do with LHC (Large Hadron Collider) and its launch is termed as Red Button Day.
