Olympic Torch Extinguished by Protests in France

Latest on Tibet and Beijing Olympic boycott front is that Europe is abuzz with protests against china. In London protestors used fire extinguishers on the torch to disrupt the ritual. Indiatimes reports:

The 31-mile parade, from north London to Greenwich in the south-east of the capital, was brought to a temporary halt five times in its first few miles as angry protesters wrestled torch carriers for possession, with one demonstrator even using a fire extinguisher on the flame.

France is definitely more democratic and there protestors were successful. Mantosh informs the Hindi Blogworld that in France protestors forced the authorities to extinguish the flame and complete the journey in bus. Understandably it happened for the first time in Olympic History.
