Google Translation's Artificial Hindi may be the Biggest Hindi Computing Breakthrough

Aalok who pioneered blogging in Hindi informs the Hindi World the launch of Hindi-English translation from Google Translation. Translation is machine translation and machine translation can only be mechanical. We don't know hoe popular it will become with kind of translation it is giving. In fact Aalok is understandable very unhappy with the quality. Some example are worth quoting:

गाय के चार पैर, चार थन, दो सींग और एक पूँछ होती है। -
The cow has four legs, dug four, two horns and a tail.

मेरे कुत्ते का नाम पिण्टू है -
My dog's name is पिण्टू

चारु चन्द्र की चञ्चल किरणें महक रही थीं जल थल में -
Charu Chandra aroma rays were perk of the land in the water

जानना चाहते हो मेरे पास क्या है? मेरे पास माँ है। -
I do want to know? I have a mother.

अकेले हम, अकेले तुम -
We alone, you alone

मेरा जूता है जापानी, ये पतलून है इङ्ग्लिस्तानी, सिर पे लाल टोपी रूसी, फिर भी दिल है हिन्दुस्तानी -
My shoe is Japanese, these pants is इङ्ग्लिस्तानी, head of the Russian pay-red cap, the heart is Hindustani

दिल तो है दिल, दिल का ऐतबार क्या कीजे। आ गया जो किसी पे प्यार, क्या कीजे। -
Is the heart of the heart, the heart of what कीजे Aitbaar. The pay has been a love, what कीजे.

आज कल पाँव ज़मीं पे टिकते नहीं -
Today, not tomorrow feet ज़मीं pay टिकते

But most of these sentences are twisted ones and one don't expect new machine to be that effective. Some more examples as I tried:

मुझे नहीं लगता कि गर्मी से जल्‍द मुक्ति मिलने वाली    I do not think the heat is to receive early liberation [ha ha ha]

आप वाकई खूबसूरत हैं  You are really beautiful
