We all will die and all our near ones as well. No matter how we hate to accept the truth remains. We will have to arrange for cremation of some and some other will arrange our cremation. But as the truth goes not many of us are aware about nitty gritties of preparing 'body' for cremation. For example I was not aware that one must tie the legs together because these are likely to set loose on procession. Also that economical use of wood can save Crores trees from funeral alone. take this byte-
दो-दो ईंटें कुछ दूरी पर जमाकर उस पर लम्बे वाले बाँस रखें, बाँस की खपच्चियाँ अमूमन सही नाप की होती हैं उन्हें एक निश्चित दूरी बनाकर रखते हुए दोनो सिरों पर बाँधना शुरु करें, दोनों तरफ़ एक-सवा फ़ुट का अन्तर छोड़ा जाना चाहिये ताकि चारों कंधा देने वाले को आसानी हो। पूरी तरह बँधने के बाद उस पर घास के पूले में से घास फ़ैलाकर बिछा दें और सफ़ेद कपड़ा दोनों सिरों पर छेद करके इकहरा फ़ँसा दें (बाकी का कपड़ा वैसा ही रहेगा, क्योंकि वह मुर्दे को अर्थी पर लिटाने के बाद उस पर दूसरी तरफ़ से आयेगा)। अब धीरे से बॉडी को उठाकर अर्थी पर रखें और बाकी का कपड़ा गले तक लाकर उसे बाँधना शुरु करें। बाँधते समय यह ध्यान रखें कि मुर्दे के दोनों पैरों के अंगूठे आपस में कसकर बाँधे जायें, कई बार देखा गया है कि पैर खुल जाते हैं और एक पैर बाहर लटक जाता है, दोनों हाथ यदि पेट पर रखकर बाँधे जायें तो ज्यादा सही रहता है।
